Dermal Fillers
Dermal fillers are Hyaluronic acid (HA) which is close to identical to that which is a naturally occurring sugar molecule found in the body. As we age our body decreases in the production of Hyaluronic Acid giving us a more aged appearance. HA is a sterile injection into the skin restoring lost volume. HA provides an alternative to invasive surgical procedures and may last 9 months or longer based on treatment area and individual metabolism.
Hyaluronic acid (HA) works by holding in water at the injection site adding temporary volume by giving a smoother and more hydrated appearance to the skin. Because this is a medical procedure, there are potential risks to be discussed with injector.
